Czech Republic tightens rules for Ukrainian refugees and considers excluding men of military age
26.05.2026 10:32Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has urged Kyiv residents to leave the capital if their psychological state does not allow them to cope with the mounting tension, and warned of impending destruction.
“It will be loud. If someone’s nerves are already giving out, if the mind can no longer take it, I completely understand, it’s hard for everyone — then you need to take a break from life in Kyiv. I urge everyone to be attentive and follow safety rules. Psychologically, you need to prepare for destruction. We have seen destruction of residential buildings, museums, enterprises. It is psychologically difficult, but you need to be ready for that picture,” — Kuleba said.
The day before, Russia announced the start of “sequential strikes” on Kyiv and recommended that foreigners leave the Ukrainian capital as soon as possible.
