‘Pray it’s not too late’: The Economist criticizes Ukraine for its weak preparation for a new Russian offensive
28.03.2024 - 13:55People’s Deputy Alexander Dubinsky stated that President Zelensky’s Office has started popularizing in the media and social networks the theme of changing the war goals and abandoning the thesis of the “borders of 1991.”
“This reformatting is necessary, including for the White House, which by May 22 must present its vision for the war in Ukraine to Congress,” noted the MP. Dubinsky also mentioned a statement by a volunteer from the Presidential Office, Berlin, about Ukraine’s inability to liberate the borders by 1991.
“Berlin is a volunteer from the pool of the President’s Office, she was considered for the post of Deputy Minister of Defense before the tragedy in Chernihiv, where a rocket hit her highly publicized exhibition “Angry Birds.” She made her statement in an interview with court interviewer Natalia Mosiychuk, and it was widely promoted by the President’s Office platforms. Now we are waiting for a couple of opinion polls in the style of “Ukrainians are ready to abandon the borders of 1991, and that’s a wrap,” Dubinsky summarized. It should be noted that Ukraine’s official position currently is the necessity to wage war until the Ukrainian army reaches the borders that existed at the time of declaring independence in 1991.
