Ukraine should not expect significant new deliveries of ATACMS missiles from the United States due to the limited quantity in American stockpiles and the long production time for this weaponry.

This information reported by CNN citing an American official.

The official also mentioned that many of Ukraine’s targets in Russia are beyond the range of ATACMS, as Russian military forces have relocated them. This primarily concerns aircraft launching glide bombs.

Despite this, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has reportedly submitted a list of targets in Russian territory to the Biden administration, suggesting strikes if the U.S. lifts its ban on long-range attacks on Russian territory using American weapons.

“We explained what capabilities we need to protect civilians from Russian terror inflicted by the Russians, so I hope we were heard,” Umerov said in an interview with CNN.

However, the U.S. has no intention of lifting its restrictions, the network adds.
