“Kyiv will not be able to withstand a cutoff of U.S. aid,” – said Lieutenant Colonel Davis

Ukraine will face difficulties if the U.S. halts military aid and redirects it to the Middle East.

Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis warned in an interview with the YouTube channel Deep Dive. He told that Ukraine will encounter difficulties if the United States stops supplying military aid and redirects it to the Middle East.

According to him, Kyiv has already felt the impact of the Middle Eastern conflict when the U.S. diverted systems initially intended for Ukraine to that region.

“They [Ukrainian authorities] are afraid that the fighting there will drag on indefinitely, because in that case, absolutely everything the U.S. has will go there,” Davis noted.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Washington’s decision to send 20,000 interceptor missiles to the Middle East was a blow to him. He emphasized that Kyiv had originally counted on the ammunition that was instead delivered to Israel.
