Kyiv’s mobile air defense ammunition enough for just a few powerful Russian attacks – Naev

The commander of the Joint Forces, Sergei Naev, stated that Kiev’s mobile air defense has sufficient ammunition for several more powerful Russian attacks.

However, additional assistance from the West will be needed afterward, as per AFP.

“The current situation with portable anti-aircraft missile systems for mobile air defense groups is such that there is enough ammunition to withstand several subsequent powerful attacks. But in the medium and long term, we need the help of Western countries to replenish the missile arsenal,” he told journalists during a meeting near Kiev.

According to his assessment, the Russians “want to exhaust our air defense system.” Naev claimed that on Tuesday, “our efficiency was about 90%.”

It’s worth noting that earlier, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Dmitry Kuleba, admitted that Ukraine does not have a Plan B in case Western assistance is reduced.
