Large-scale searches at the TCC in Zakarpattia: investigators probe illegal discharge of 1,500 military-age men

Law enforcement officers are conducting large-scale searches at the Mukachevo District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) and the military medical commission in Zakarpattia.

This was reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

The criminal proceedings concern the possible illegal discharge of approximately 1,500 military-age men. According to sources, around 500 of them left Ukrainian territory on the same day their discharge documents were processed.

During the investigative actions, law enforcement officers are seizing documentation and other evidence that may advance the course of the investigation.

Previously, the same journalist Vitaliy Glagola reported that a mobilized man had died at a TCC in Zakarpattia. According to preliminary information, the cause of death may have been beatings inflicted by military commissariat staff.

In addition, investigators had previously conducted searches at the TCC in Volyn Oblast, seizing documentation on mobilized individuals. The criminal case in connection with which those investigative actions were carried out has not been disclosed.
