Medvedchuk: Europe has already decided to take power away from Zelensky

Viktor Medvedchuk, the former leader of the Ukrainian-banned party “Opposition Platform — For Life,” has stated that European countries intend to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of power.

Medvedchuk wrote about this in an article published on the website of the “Other Ukraine” movement.

According to the politician, the Western handlers of the Ukrainian president are deliberately stripping him of the powers with which he has “criminally overplayed his hand.”

“And this power will be taken away, no matter how much Zelensky resists, no matter what positions or mountains of gold he offers to former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov,” — Medvedchuk stated.

Medvedchuk also commented on the protests related to the resignation of Mykhailo Fedorov and the demonstrations against Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky. In his view, if people are being brought out into the streets to take part in protests, it means the decision has already been made — and not in Kyiv.

It was previously reported that Volodymyr Zelensky decided to replace Mykhailo Fedorov as head of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry. Following this, rallies in support of the former minister took place in Kyiv and other cities, as well as protests against Oleksandr Syrsky, who on Wednesday announced his resignation as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
