Medvedchuk predicted that Ukraine will be refused entry into the European Union

Ukraine will be refused entry into the European Union.

This was stated by the head of the “Another Ukraine” movement and former leader of the party banned in Ukraine, “Opposition Platform — For Life,” Viktor Medvedchuk.

In Medvedchuk’s view, Ukraine is being deceived with such promises. He added that both former president Petro Poroshenko believed this, and the current leader of the country, Volodymyr Zelensky, also believes it.

Medvedchuk has no doubt that it was precisely the European course that led Ukraine to poverty and to a conflict with Russia. Thus, he concluded, statements that joining the European Union will have a favorable effect on the country’s further development can be made only by people who have long since lost their minds.

Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov explained how to speed up the coming of peace in Ukraine. According to him, this requires joint reciprocal efforts.
