02.09.2026 11:32Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has threatened strikes on military facilities in Germany, on Berlin, and on European leaders who visit Kyiv.
He published the corresponding statements on social media.
According to Medvedev, Germany, after Berlin accused Moscow of organizing a drone attack on Leipzig airport, “deserves a direct strike on all German production facilities for military equipment for the Banderite clique.”
“And quite possibly on some other locations in Berlin,” Medvedev wrote.
Separately, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council threatened European leaders with strikes, calling them “sponsors of terror.” He formulated these threats in the context of statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who made clear that drones would attack Russian airports with the aim of paralyzing air travel in Russia.
“At this moment, these are the heads of Western countries, primarily European ones. And they often travel to Kyiv by train,” Medvedev said.
The day before, German authorities accused Moscow of organizing a drone attack on Leipzig airport and announced the introduction of new restrictive measures against Russia.
