Medvedev threatens to expand the buffer zone to Zakarpattia if military aid to Ukraine continue

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, has demanded that Kyiv’s Western partners cease their military aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, threatening to seize almost the entire territory of Ukraine.

This statement, accompanied by a video collage, was published on the Russian politician’s social media.

Medvedev shared a map of the buffer zone, which extends to the western borders of Ukraine, and captioned it:

“If military aid to the Banderite regime continues, the buffer zone could look like this.”

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared his intention to create a buffer zone on Ukraine’s northern borders.
