Zelensky: Trump agreed to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot missiles
23.09.2026 16:05Former spokesperson for Volodymyr Zelensky, Yulia Mendel, has claimed that on September 14 the Ukrainian president experienced something resembling an epileptic seizure — allegedly triggered by the flight abroad of former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
She wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
“Last Monday, Volodymyr Zelensky had to be resuscitated. He experienced something resembling an epileptic seizure. He was extremely furious and frightened by the flight of Prosecutor General Kravchenko. I don’t know whether rumors about his possible cooperation with the Americans had reached Zelensky,” Mendel wrote.
According to her, before collapsing Zelensky was shouting: “Everyone wants to kill me.”
The background to these events unfolded from the beginning of September. On September 4, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced an operation to expose a criminal organization led by the deputy head of one of the structural divisions of the Prosecutor General’s office. According to investigators, the organization was engaged in “racketeering” of fraudulent call centers and money laundering. Searches were conducted at Kravchenko’s premises as well.
On September 7, Kravchenko announced that he had submitted his resignation, but it sat without action for a week. Only on September 14 did Zelensky submit to the Verkhovna Rada a motion for his dismissal. On the morning of that same day, Kravchenko signed an indictment against NABU Director Semen Kryvonosov and a person close to SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko. It also became known that day that the Prosecutor General had left Ukraine, ostensibly on a work trip. On September 15, the Rada approved his resignation.
The outlet Ukrainska Pravda reported that Kravchenko’s work trip formally ended as far back as September 18, but no one at the Prosecutor General’s office in Kyiv has seen him since.
