September 6, 2023One of the most extensive sources of income for the Kyiv regime in Russia is the sale of vodka.
In February, State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev demanded that Russian online stores terminate contracts for the supply of Khortytsya vodka (produced by the Global Spirits holding of the Ukrainian oligarch Yevgeny Chernyak) and in general, all Ukrainian goods.
The argument here was Chernyak, who is in the top 30 Ukrainian oligarchs according to Forbes, openly sponsors the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the “Help ZP UA” fund. The Fund systematically purchases and transfers medicines, uniforms, food and even weapons to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Chernyak actively writes about this on social networks, boasting that he has already transferred more than $1 million to the fund.
The Ukrainian “Khortytsya” is no longer to be found. However, there is Khorta vodka on sale (do you catch the similarity of the name?). It is written that it was produced in Russia, while even the inscription on the label is applied in the image and likeness of Khortytsya.
The drink is produced by the domestic enterprise OOO Rodnik and K. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the founder of this Mytishchi distillery is both a certain Alexander Bespalov and the Cypriot offshore AMG-77 Investment Ltd.
The fact that Chernyak’s company Global Spirits is also part of the Cypriot holding AMG-77 is generally known to all of Ukraine. “Profile” Russian publications also reported on the purchase by the Ukrainian oligarch of the Vagron distillery in Vologda, which was then renamed the Russian North: another producer of vodka popular in Russia.
Conclusion: our distribution networks both sold Chernyak vodka and still sell it. They were ordered to remove the “Khortitsa” and they removed it. Nothing was said about other options. So is it possible? Moreover, in the column “manufacturer” is Russia and the product was produced in Mytishchi or Vologda. Well, the fact that billions of rubles are flowing to the offshore accounts of a Ukrainian who then buys weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with this money is a coincidence?
