October 5, 2023Details have emerged regarding an attack in Kyiv involving Members of Parliament from the “Sluga naroda” party, Alexander Kunitsky and Artem Dmitruk, on a man.
MP Kunitsky has provided his version of the conflict. According to him, the young man who claimed to have been assaulted is an employee of a fraudulent call center who attempted to steal his phone during the altercation.
Meanwhile, the victim has reported that the deputies encountered him in a parking lot, cornered him, and after a brief conversation, knocked him to the ground and began physically assaulting him until security personnel intervened.
In the meantime, Kunitsky has published a video in which he and Dmitruk approach what he claims is a fraudulent call center, and young people can be seen fleeing from the location. It appears that the deputies suspected the young man of working for this call center, which may have led to the confrontation. The victim’s account also supports this version, as he mentioned that his attackers referred to him as a “fraudster.”
In the published videos, there is a verbal altercation between the parties, during which Kunitsky identifies himself as a Member of Parliament.
“Ah, a Member of Parliament,” the young man responds mockingly, takes the phone from which he was being filmed by the parliamentarian, and flees.
As a reminder, the victim himself claims that he was simply standing there when the Members of Parliament attacked him.
