November 22, 2023More than three-quarters of Ukrainians, approximately 77%, are aware of the alleged dispute between President Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny. These statistics stem from a sociological study conducted by the “Active Group” on November 19, 2023, employing the “SunFlower Sociology” online panel.
However, the majority of those surveyed, around 86%, believe that either there is no conflict at all or that any conflict present is purely technical. When asked whether they had heard about the purported conflict between Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny and President Volodymyr Zelensky, over half of the respondents (54.4%) responded affirmatively. An additional 23.1% acknowledged some awareness of the conflict but were uncertain, while 22.5% encountered this information for the first time.
Respondents familiar with the reported conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny were also asked to opine on its existence. Approximately 27.1% of Ukrainians stated that no such conflict exists, while 59.3% acknowledged a potential conflict, albeit one stemming exclusively from technical issues. Nonetheless, 13.7% of respondents maintain that a significant conflict does indeed exist.
