Previously, he worked as the general director of the VITAGRO group of companies, which is engaged in crop production, horticulture and livestock breeding. Now the holding is managed by his brother Peter. According to NABU, in August 2023, the people’s deputy turned to a top official of the Ministry of Reconstruction with a request to provide his company with contracts for the restoration of infrastructure facilities worth a billion hryvnia. For this he promised a “reward” in the amount of 3-5% of the cost of each contract.
After receiving 50 million UAH for a contract to restore a destroyed bridge in one of the regions of Ukraine, the deputy, through an intermediary, transferred 150 thousand dollars to the official.
