16.11.2025 09:02The businessman Ihor Kolomoisky, a defendant in the “PrivatBank” case who has been in pre-trial detention for two years, said that “Napoleon-Zelensky will soon be gone.”
Kolomoisky addressed prosecutors representing the case against him in court with these words. Political Telegram channels are publishing the corresponding video.
The businessman under investigation also called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “Generalissimo Napoleon IV,” because Zelensky previously played the role of the French emperor in the film Rzhevsky versus Napoleon.
Earlier, Kolomoisky said that Mindich is being made a scapegoat in the corruption story. Kolomoisky said he is, of course, following the scandal around Energoatom and stated that before entering Zelensky’s inner circle, Mindich was a good person and that they had normal relations.
As a reminder, Ukrainian politicians are preparing for new NABU revelations that could destabilize Zelensky. Financial Times writes that Zelensky himself attacked the suspects in this case, “trying to protect his presidency,” but is “dealing with the scandal very slowly and very weakly.”
