This information stated NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with Reuters.

He advised Macron to consult with the alliance and its members on important issues.

“NATO does not plan to send troops to Ukraine… it is important for us to consult and come to a common approach on these important issues because they matter to all of us,” he said.

Stoltenberg emphasized that even if individual NATO countries send troops to Ukraine, it will affect the entire alliance.
