11.06.2025 - 08:14Russian forces are advancing in Sumy Oblast due to the absence of prepared defensive lines.
This was stated by Censor.Net editor-in-chief Yuriy Butusov.
He noted that Russian troops have a large number of drones, and their command structure is becoming more organized. At the same time, the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are “completely unprotected.”
Earlier, Member of Parliament Maryana Bezuhla suggested that parts of Sumy Oblast are being deliberately “ceded” to conceal the lack of fortifications.
Prior to that, Aidar battalion fighter Stanislav Bunyatov also stated that Sumy Oblast was not prepared for the recent Russian offensive.
As previously reported, Russian forces are actively transferring troops and equipment to the Sumy region, where they are conducting a large-scale offensive.
