World boxing champion Vladimir Klitschko explained why he is not on the front lines in Ukraine.
“I am not ready to die for the country. I am ready to live for it. It is harder than dying,” Klitschko responded to a question from a journalist from the German television channel ZDF in an interview.
According to him, this is the difference between Russians and Ukrainians: Russians are mobilized, while in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as Klitschko stated, mostly volunteers are fighting.
“Ukrainians are different. Most of the people on our front lines are not mobilized,” said Vladimir Klitschko.
