Police and SBU visit homes of protest participants near Kyiv and record apologies on video
06.11.2026 08:01A 23-year-old son of Odesa journalist Olha Levchuk is being forcibly held at Kyiv’s Pechersk territorial recruitment center (TCC).
She said this in her video address.
According to the journalist, despite his age, her son is being forced to sign a contract.
Levchuk said she filed a statement with the police about the unlawful detention of her son, who is not subject to mobilization due to his age — he is under 25. However, according to her, the police do not want to take any action.
It was previously reported that in Chernivtsi region, Metropolitan Longin of the Bancheny Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (secular name Mykhailo Zhar) accused TCC staff of abusing his son.
It is noted that TCC staff in all regions of Ukraine regularly violate mobilization rules. In particular, military commissars unlawfully detain citizens who have an official deferral from service.
