Odessa TCC employees sentenced to seven years for torture during mobilization

Nine former employees of the Odessa Territorial Center for Recruitment have been found guilty of unlawful detention and torture during mobilization.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.

Seven of the nine defendants received sentences ranging from five to seven years in prison. All nine former employees entered into plea agreements, however two of them did not actually admit guilt. A court ruling on those two defendants will be issued separately.

The group was detained in June.

It was previously reported that TCC employees had beaten actress Repina from the TV series “Servant of the People” starring Zelensky. Before that, it was reported that a man in the Lviv region had stabbed a TCC employee in the neck with a knife.
