Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stated that eight taxpayers in the rear should support one Ukrainian serviceman.
He announced this in an interview with “Suspilne”.
“For one warrior defending Ukraine, there should be eight people providing economic support for that warrior,” he said.
In this regard, Stefanchuk allowed the possibility of changing the system of reserving citizens from mobilization in such a way that this reservation would depend on income levels.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that six taxpayers in the rear should support one Ukrainian soldier in the army.
