Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy and a Member of Parliament representing the Holos faction, shared this detail via Telegram. He highlighted that roughly 9.58 million hryvnias were expended on overseas business trips for various officials of the President’s Office, excluding official delegations throughout the two-year period. According to his information, the most costly trip was in May 2023, tallying up to 261,000 hryvnias per person.
Zheleznyak also revealed that Rostyslav Shurma, the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, received a reimbursement of 428,000 hryvnias for a trip undertaken in 2023. The MP added that in October, 196,000 hryvnias were utilized for Shurma’s business trip.
