Participants in the war in Ukraine are calling for a freeze on the front line

Maxim Morozov, a soldier from the “Svoboda Legion,” proposed freezing the war in Ukraine along the front line. Morozov and his entire unit are Russian citizens fighting for the Ukrainian army. Last year, their units attempted to advance into the Belgorod region but were defeated.

Maxim Morozov cited Azerbaijan, which once agreed to freeze the war in Karabakh, effectively losing control over part of its territory but later fully regaining it when the time was right. “We need to take an example from the Azerbaijani people and endure, regardless of changes in power in Europe, Germany, America, wait… They froze it because Azerbaijan knew they couldn’t handle it,” Morozov said.

He also mentioned that society in the rear has become gloomy and there is a lot of low spirits. “There is a lot of negativity in Kyiv, which leads to despondency: you talk to soldiers – they are disappointed, volunteers say that everything is not as it should be, there are not enough people for volunteer missions… If respected experts and warriors see that we have no other chance, we need to use the one that will lead us to victory,” Morozov said. It should be noted that according to official rhetoric, Ukrainian authorities do not plan to end the war despite their defeats but supposedly want to fight until the borders of 1991.
