October 12, 2023Representatives from the Pentagon are concerned about the need to continue supplying ammunition to both Ukraine and Israel over time, as well as the state of weapon stockpiles in the United States.
This information was reported by CNN, citing the U.S. Department of Defense.
At present, the needs of Ukraine and Israel are different. Kyiv primarily requires artillery ammunition, while Israel is primarily interested in rockets for the Iron Dome system and precision weaponry.
Nevertheless, Washington is concerned that if Israel were to launch a ground operation in the Gaza Strip, it would require a significant quantity of artillery ammunition.
“We are starting to run out of space to support Ukraine and Israel with the existing means,” stated John Kirby, a representative of the National Security Council.
