Peskov spoke about the direct communication line between Putin and Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump have had a direct communication line for a long time.

This information reported according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

“There has long been a direct line between the presidents of the U.S. and Russia, a red thread, as well as video communication if necessary. All of this has been in the arsenal of the heads of state for quite some time,” Peskov stated.

He also emphasized that the two leaders trust each other and are committed to gradually normalizing relations between Russia and the United States.

Meanwhile, Trump revealed that he had additional conversations with Putin that had not been previously disclosed. He described his dialogue with the Russian leader as positive and expressed hope that their discussions could “mark the beginning of something good.”
