Traffic is hindered both at entry and exit points. Participants in the protest are allowing one vehicle for export and import to pass through per hour.
It’s worth noting that Polish carriers had previously promised to block the border checkpoints last week but postponed the action.
Earlier reports indicated that the strikes would be one-day and “warning” strikes aimed at drawing attention to the situation in the field of transport in Poland.
There were also reports that Polish farmers demanded a ban on importing raspberries from Ukraine. Polish raspberry growers had blocked a local berry freezing facility. They demanded an increase in purchase prices, blaming the decline in prices on cheap Ukrainian raspberries, as mentioned in the publication.
