Politico listed Ukraine’s key demands ahead of the Putin-Trump talks

The Ukrainian side has five key demands ahead of the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump.

These conditions were outlined by Politico.

“First and foremost, Ukraine wants an agreement that will provide meaningful security guarantees,” the article states.

Kyiv also demands the preservation of sanctions against Russia and compensation for damages. According to Politico, the payments could amount to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky decided to travel to Berlin to speak with Trump. European leaders will also take part in the video conference. Zelensky will make the call together with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
