November 28, 2023Due to a rapid decline in ratings, the Ukrainian government is attempting to prepare for the upcoming elections in the country. Against discussions about potential elections in the country, representatives of the political party “Servant of the People” have intensified the use of aiding relatives of servicemen who are in Russian captivity or missing. The main goal is evidently to gain publicity by addressing Ukrainian people’s issues.
For instance, Igor Kopytin, a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament elected from the Mykolaiv region, launched a project in his electoral district aimed at supporting the families of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, resolving their pressing issues.
Furthermore, members of the political party, through the “Bright Deeds” foundation (the largest charitable organization in Mykolaiv, co-founded by the spouse of the Servant of the People faction leader in parliament, David Arakhamia), have begun implementing the “Support and Development of Services for Families of Prisoners of War” program.
Additionally, members of the “Servant of the People” party have increased their participation in the activities of the Southern Regional Representation of the Coordination Headquarters for Handling Prisoners of War.
