Putin stated that he does not remember Trump’s threat to strike Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed claims made by American politician and former U.S. President Donald Trump, who allegedly threatened to strike Moscow.

Putin denied this during the BRICS summit in Kazan.

The Russian leader said he does not recall such a conversation and added that statements made during the U.S. election campaign should be taken with skepticism. However, Putin noted that when Trump speaks about wanting to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible, “he says it sincerely.”

It is worth recalling that American journalist Bob Woodward reported that Trump had called Putin earlier this year.
