Putin to Trump: Zelensky can come to Moscow for a meeting

Vladimir Putin, during a phone call with Donald Trump, confirmed his readiness to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — but only on Russian territory.

The content of the talks was relayed by Kremlin chief of staff aide Yuri Ushakov.

“If Zelensky wants a meeting, let him come to Moscow,” — Ushakov quoted Putin as saying.

According to Ushakov, during the same conversation Putin accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling “Russian civilian infrastructure” and stated that these strikes “will not change the situation on the battlefield.”

Following similar statements previously made by the Kremlin, Zelensky proposed that Putin meet on neutral territory.

The day before, commander of the UAF Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi announced that Ukraine had struck the Crimean Titan plant in Armyansk with drones. The strike caused a massive fire, and the facility halted operations.
