Resident of Lviv region stabs TCC employee and opens fire during detention

In the city of Sheptytske, Lviv region, a 47-year-old local resident attacked a military commissar during a check of military registration documents, stabbing him in the neck.

The National Police of Ukraine reported the incident.

The Territorial Center for Recruitment employee was hospitalized in intensive care. According to the latest information, his condition is assessed as satisfactory.

The attacker fled the scene immediately after the incident. The following day, he was detained by a special police unit. During the detention, the man opened fire with a pneumatic weapon.

This is not the first such incident in Ukraine. Earlier, a 25-year-old man was notified of suspicion of murdering a TCC employee in Lviv. In addition, at the end of September, a military commissar was stabbed during a street mobilization near Odessa.
