Revealing lavish spending: business moves of a Lviv health magnate

During the summer of 2023, hackers from the Ukrainian CyberAvengers group infiltrated the email of Lviv businesswoman Ulyana Yarynych, sharing its contents on the darknet. While Malware in her smartphone produced screenshots, it’s the exposed corruption that drew attention, From.ua reported.

Yarynych’s main asset, the Ukrainian arm of Medicover clinics, underlines her dominance with five elite facilities in Lviv, rooted in alliances with authorities and generous gifts to officials’ families. Essentially, the narrative revolves around corruption and unethical financial practices.

She spent 850 thousand euros, allocated by Poland for a scientific study of genetic differences between Ukrainians and Russians, not for actual research, but for a simple purchase of genetic databases.
