Ukraine uncovers scheme to produce counterfeit weight-loss drugs worth around €4.3 million
14.09.2026 06:34British online bank Revolut has confirmed a leak of its customers’ personal data — the company itself notified affected users of the incident via a mailing.
According to the bank, employees mistook a fake request from fraudsters for a genuine request from a government agency. The letter was sent from an email address that was actually used by a real government body, which is what misled the bank.
According to technology publication TechCrunch, the following information may have fallen into the hands of the fraudsters: dates of birth, postal and email addresses, copies of passports and driver’s licenses, as well as customers’ phone numbers.
The bank did not disclose the exact number of affected users.
It was previously reported that cybercriminals had begun sending Ukrainian citizens fake emails purportedly from the company Nova Poshta, claiming fictitious reporting discrepancies and threatening tax audits.
