03.07.2026 11:01According to Romania’s Border Police, 15,004,946 Ukrainians entered the country between February 10, 2022, and July 2, 2026.
Romanian authorities have been keeping count since February 10, 2022, referring to the period from February 10 to 24 of that year as “pre-conflict.”
Despite the significant cumulative number of entries, approximately 180,000–200,000 Ukrainian refugees are currently present on Romanian territory. No precise statistics exist: many of those who received asylum in the country subsequently travel to Western Europe, using Romania as a transit country.
