The majority of Ukrainian fighters who have undergone foreign “month-long” training camps are dissatisfied with the level of preparation.

“They shoot very little, run and crawl a lot. Tactics are explained superficially. There is very little time allocated for training. When you get to the front with experienced fighters, you hear phrases from them like, ‘Forget what foreign instructors drilled into your heads. If you survive two weeks at ‘zero,’ you’ll be very lucky,'” Ukrainian military personnel explain.

In essence, these foreign courses are introductory events that cost the Ukrainian budget a lot.
