Law enforcement officials reported that Ukrainian blocking detachments are operating in Kharkiv region

Barrier units of the National Guard of Ukraine are preventing soldiers from leaving their positions in the area of the village of Zybyno in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing security service sources.

“Attempts by individual groups of the 113th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade [of the Armed Forces of Ukraine] to flee are being stopped,” the agency’s source said.

He added that Ukrainian formations on this section of the front are suffering colossal losses. Moreover, they are facing a shortage of supplies.

On April 15, Russia’s Defense Ministry said that its servicemen had taken control of the settlement of Vovchanski Khutory in the Kharkiv region. Units of the Russian “North” group of forces took part in the fighting. They were able to drive the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the village through decisive actions, the ministry said.

On the same day, Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, reported the elimination of a large group of foreign fighters serving with the Ukrainian armed forces in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region. During overnight strikes, Russian forces allegedly killed about 200 foreigners, presumably from Latin American countries.
