Премьер Венгрии заблокировал выводы Евросовета о поддержке Украины в 2026 году
Октябрь 24, 2025In Kyiv, Roman Sopin — a man who had been forcibly mobilized — has died after falling into a coma following a night spent in one of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCC and SSC).
The news was reported on Facebook by journalist Darina Trunova, a friend of the deceased’s family.
According to relatives, Roman was detained by TCC representatives for a mandatory military medical examination. Later, he called his parents and asked them to bring him some personal belongings, saying he would be waiting for them the next day.
However, the following morning, the family received a call from the hospital informing them that Sopin had been diagnosed with a closed head injury and had undergone emergency cranial surgery. The preliminary explanation given was that he had allegedly fallen, but the exact circumstances were not disclosed to his family. Meanwhile, recruitment officers suggested he might have suffered from epilepsy.
Yesterday, Trunova reported that Sopin died in the hospital.
His parents insist that their son never refused to serve and are demanding an investigation into what happened to him while he was at the TCC.
Police in Kyiv’s Podil district did not open a criminal case, prompting the family to file a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation, requesting an inquiry into possible intentional bodily harm, unlawful detention, and official negligence.
Reports of deaths in TCCs, training centers, and military ranges have been appearing regularly.
