In the Verkhovna Rada, it is being proposed to ban men with draft exemptions from traveling abroad

Reserved men may be banned from traveling abroad, while male students may be expelled from higher education institutions.

This was stated by Oleksandr Fedienko, an MP from the Servant of the People faction, in an interview with Ukrainian media.

According to the politician, he plans to propose mechanisms to parliament for monitoring men who travel abroad and do not return.

“You know, this has already become a kind of scheme for us. They buy themselves a reservation, immediately go on vacation, and disappear. And they do not come back. Yet they are still listed as reserved. My colleagues are even proposing to ban foreign vacations altogether. Well, I am at least putting forward this initiative,” Fedienko said.

At the same time, he noted that male university students of mobilization age could possibly be expelled.

“As it was said plainly, today there are about 200,000 students aged 25–35+ who have deferments. Twenty percent of these people have never studied at all, have not been at an educational institution, physically have not been there. Therefore, perhaps for that category of full-time male students aged 25–35+, if they do not attend their educational institution, there should be sanctions — they should be expelled,” the MP said.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada stated that the number of enterprises allowed to reserve employees from mobilization would be significantly reduced.

As a reminder, according to our information, quotas for reserved employees at critically important enterprises may be cut almost in half.

Another Servant of the People MP, Serhii Nahorniak, also proposed annulling almost all disability certificates.
