Октябрь 24, 2025The vast majority of videos allegedly showing forced mobilization in Ukraine were created using artificial intelligenceand are fake, according to members of the Ukrainian parliament.
This was stated in an interview with Telegraf by Mykyta Poturaiev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy.
According to him, some of the circulated videos were not even filmed in Ukraine.
“Of course, isolated cases of legal violations do occur. Those responsible are punished according to the law. But recently, civil organizations monitoring the information space used artificial intelligence to analyze a huge volume of videos about the recruitment centers (TCCs) circulating on social media. It turned out that almost all such videos are fake — almost all! They were either filmed outside Ukraine (in temporarily occupied territories) or created entirely with AI. These are simply deepfakes,” Poturaiev said.
He noted, however, that in some high-profile incidents of mobilization caught on video, Ukraine’s recruitment centers (TCCs and SSCs) have later confirmed and commented on the events themselves.
