As was the case a month ago, PURL currently totals $2 billion.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"310\" data-end=\"420\">This figure was reported today on Telegram by Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"506\">According to him, under the program four defense aid packages have been allocated:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"637\">\n<li data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"540\">\n<p data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"540\">The Netherlands: $578 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"586\">\n<p data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"586\">Denmark, Norway, and Sweden: $495 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"612\">\n<p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"612\">Germany: $500 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"637\">\n<p data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"637\">Canada: $500 million<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"926\">It should be noted that last week Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky handed U.S. President Donald Trump a list of weapons Ukraine needs, worth $90 billion. Zelensky stated that in October, Ukrainian officials will hold technical negotiations with the Americans on arms procurement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"1185\">Earlier, Ukrainian authorities estimated the country\u2019s total need for Western military assistance for next year at $60 billion. Where Ukraine will find the funds for military needs and how it will cover budget shortfalls was analyzed in a separate report.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1442\">For reference, according to NATO Military Committee Chairman Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, military assistance to Ukraine will not increase this year and will amount to about $50 billion.
