Russia claims Zelensky plans to “cleanse” Ukraine for the West

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is allegedly preparing to “cleanse” Ukraine to serve the interests of Western countries.

This claim was made by Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the Commission on Sovereignty at Russia’s Public Chamber and Co-Chair of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions.

“Residents of the post-Ukrainian space controlled by Zelensky’s regime have two choices: either they overthrow the Kyiv regime, or they won’t survive. By provoking the continuation of the military conflict, Zelensky is effectively depopulating the territory under his control,” Rogov said.

According to him, Zelensky is prepared to hand over Ukraine’s territory and resources to the West — but without its people.

Earlier, Alexei Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said he does not expect a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky anytime soon, as the necessary agreements and details have not yet been worked out.
