Russia has been producing combat drones with a range of 1,500 kilometers for a year and has already used them to attack Ukraine.

This information is reported by Reuters, citing sources.

The drone is called the “Harpy-A1” and uses Chinese engines and components. From July 2023 to July 2024, 2,500 of these drones were manufactured at a factory in Udmurtia.

It is reported that these drones have already been used to target locations in Ukraine, though there had been no official confirmation of this information before.

Reuters states that it has photos of the drone’s wreckage but has not published them due to an inability to verify the images.
