Russia responded to Zelensky’s remarks on the timeline for ending the Ukrainian conflict

Ukraine would last only a month against Russia if it did not receive support.

This was stated by Russian Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov.

He was commenting on the statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the military conflict would end in the summer of 2026.

“It feels like we’re all living on different planets from the Ukrainians. (…) I don’t know what calculations Zelensky is making with these statements, but if the support stops, all of this will be over in a month,” Dzhabarov said.

In his opinion, the situation cannot go on indefinitely: Zelensky is bombing cities, and Russia is patiently waiting for him to sit down at the negotiating table.

“I think he should prepare for retaliatory strikes,” Dzhabarov concluded.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that the military conflict with Russia would end by the summer of 2026.

The Ukrainian leader also proposed holding a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, stating that he was ready for negotiations in any format.
