06.05.2025 - 04:44Russian forces have advanced in the Belgorod region, pushing Ukrainian forces back from Demidivka.
This is according to an updated map published by the military-focused Telegram channel Deep State.
Russian troops have also approached the border of Dnipropetrovsk region near Kotliarivka, with only 2.5 kilometers remaining to the administrative boundary. There is also reported progress near neighboring Uspenivka.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces near Pokrovsk managed to retake some positions near Lysivka.
Additionally, the Russian army began advancing west of Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region, where it had been relatively quiet in recent weeks, pushing toward both Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to Deep State, on May 3, Russia launched active assaults in three directions: toward Volne Pole, Zelene Pole, and south of Novosilka, as well as toward Novopil.
The situation is described as “difficult”—Russian troops managed to cross the Vorona River and secure positions along the road near Zelene Pole, also occupying several forest strips east of Novodarivka, the channel reports.
Meanwhile, according to Russian sources, Ukrainian forces are attempting to break through into the Kursk region.
