11.03.2026 - 13:20The Russian army has again entered the village of Bessalovka in Ukraine’s Sumy region, on the border with Russia’s Kursk region.
This was reported by the military Telegram channel Deep State.
Bessalovka is located near Tetkino in Russia’s Kursk region, where Ukraine’s Armed Forces (AFU) conducted an offensive last spring. In July 2025, Russian forces captured the village, but in August the AFU recaptured it.
At the same time, Russia’s Ministry of Defense claims Russian troops have entered Ukraine on a more northern section of the Sumy region and captured the village of Chervona Zarya.
Deep State also reports that Russian forces have advanced near Kostiantynivka and close to the border between Donetskand Dnipropetrovsk regions, in the area of Udachne.
Yesterday, media reported that in Sumy region the Russians are gradually expanding their zone of control in Ukraine’s border area.
