The scandal-hit TCC intake point in the DVRZ district wasn’t disbanded; staff were relocated due to the threat of shelling
05.11.2025 14:02Statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the country’s forces are supposedly clearing out the remaining “up to 60 Russians” in Kupiansk may indicate that he has lost touch with reality.
This was stated by Russia’s Ministry of Defense on Telegram.
The agency stressed that by “listening to the deceitful reports” of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Syrskyi, Zelensky “has absolutely no grasp of the operational situation on the ground.”
“Or, on the contrary—he understands the hopelessness of the situation and the real position of the AFU in Kupiansk,” the Russian Defense Ministry believes.
They added that AFU groupings encircled in the areas of Kupiansk and Krasnoarmiisk are continuously taking losses from strikes by Russian forces, who are advancing and leaving Ukrainian servicemembers no chance of survival except voluntary surrender.
Earlier, it became known that the deputy commander of the AFU’s 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade was eliminated in Kupiansk. The Ukrainian officer was mortally wounded at a crossing by a strike from a Russian FPV drone. His comrades were unable to get him to the medical unit due to the intensity of artillery and of Russia’s Aerospace Forces.
