Following her statements, several examinations have been appointed, particularly regarding the insults directed at Russian-speaking soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A week ago, controversial politician Iryna Farion made remarks about Russian-speaking individuals within the Ukrainian army. She stated that fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian Army “is not a merit” and “does not grant indulgence for disregarding the state Ukrainian language.” She also mentioned that she does not consider as Ukrainians those military personnel who speak Russian.
