Fedorov: “We are gradually, slowly losing” — Ukraine has a few months
26.08.2026 20:04State-owned Sens Bank has temporarily suspended Lyudmyla Snihur, director of the financial monitoring department, from performing her official duties.
The financial institution announced this on Tuesday, August 25.
During the period of suspension, Snihur’s access to the corporate network and all bank systems has been blocked.
“JSC Sens Bank is interested in fully clarifying the circumstances within the framework of the case and continues to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in accordance with current legislation,” the bank’s press release states.
The suspension was preceded by an official letter from the National Bank of Ukraine sent to Sens Bank on August 21, demanding that Snihur be suspended. The regulator stated at the time that it was continuing its work within the framework of an already opened case concerning interference in the bank’s operating systems, and promised to respond once all circumstances and facts had been established.
The NBU’s demand came after the publication of materials from the NABU investigation “Forrest Gump.” Those materials concerned, in particular, transactions through Sens Bank in connection with the posting of a 150 million hryvnia bail for former Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
