02.12.2025 10:02Several MPs from Servant of the People have already submitted requests to leave the faction and even the Verkhovna Rada, which could jeopardize the existence of the parliamentary single-party majority.
This was reported on Facebook by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, an MP from the Holos party.
According to him, the threat to the mono-majority was mentioned yesterday at a meeting with Servant of the People MPs by faction leader Davyd Arakhamia, who asked deputies not to leave the faction until the end of the session (4 February), tying this to the peace negotiations and the need to “demonstrate unity at least in front of our partners.”
Zhelezniak is convinced that Arakhamia is trying to avoid losing the mono-majority, which now has 229 MPs, with the minimum needed being 226. At the same time, party-list MPs who want to leave the faction are prepared to give up their mandates and leave the Rada altogether, the MP claims.
“Therefore, when there are only four votes left as a buffer for the coalition, they keep all remaining single-mandate MPs by any pretext. Now they’ve come up with this ‘peace track’ until February,” Zhelezniak said.
Recall that after Andriy Yermak was dismissed from the post of Head of the Presidential Office, the crisis within Servant of the People worsened.
